There was a time when everything in my life looked perfect from the outside—an engineer with a master’s degree in environmental engineering, designing structures, solving problems, always in control.
But inside, I was collapsing.
Years of stress, perfectionism, and constant pressure left me with panic attacks, racing thoughts, and a body that no longer felt like home. I was functioning, but not living.
The first time I truly breathed, I remember the silence that followed…
the moment my mind softened…and I felt stillness for the first time.
That single breath became the beginning of my healing.
From there, yoga became more than a practice; it became my path back to myself.
Through persistence, curiosity, and faith, I slowly transformed darkness into light. I left behind a world of structure to create one built from soul—founding Mikaela Yoga & Wellness, a brand that grew from a single mat on a beach in Mykonos into an international wellness community.

Yoga Teacher & HIIT instructor
Brooks Hoffman is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance and a certified HIIT instructor who shares his time between San Francisco and Mykonos. His teaching reflects a balance of grounded strength and playful curiosity, blending Flow, Alignment-Oriented, Fitness, and Heated Yoga into an experience that connects movement with mindfulness.
Rooted in community, Brooks believes yoga is best practiced together — whether he’s guiding a room by the Aegean Sea or flowing with his students in California. His classes invite awareness, vitality, and inner calm, helping practitioners explore new ways to align body, breath, and mind.

Personal Trainer
Dimitra, a Physical Education teacher and certified Personal Trainer, boasts a diverse skill set encompassing Pilates, cycling, and TAE KWO DO. With 12 years of experience in both group and personal training, Dimitra specializes in crafting tailored programs to suit individual needs and aspirations, irrespective of fitness levels. Her approach emphasizes adaptability and personalized attention, ensuring each session presents a new challenge aimed at surpassing clients’ objectives. Requiring only minimal equipment and a positive attitude, Dimitra’s sessions promise to be engaging and rewarding. With expertise in strength training and fitness, Mai designs nutrition-optimised meal experiences that promote energy, gut health, and longevity. Her tailored approach blends seamlessly into high-end retreats, private chef collaborations, and luxury wellness experiences.
